Quick answer: You can cancel Helium 10 at any time in your account under Plans & Billing, through the support chat widget, or by e-mail to the support team. Cancel before your renewal date to stop the next charge. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for. A full refund is only promised if you cancel within 7 days of your first purchase; after that, refunds are at Helium 10's discretion.

How we wrote this guide: we read Helium 10's Terms and Conditions (effective 17 August 2026) and the FAQ on its pricing page, both checked on 9 October 2026, and we looked at its Trustpilot profile on the same day. We have not held a paid Helium 10 account ourselves, so this guide repeats what Helium 10's own pages say. Rules can change: check the terms and your billing page before you act.

What you are paying for

Helium 10 sells monthly and yearly subscriptions to its seller software. The prices below are from the pricing page on 9 October 2026, in US dollars, with taxes added at checkout.

PlanBilled monthlyBilled yearly (per month)
Free$0$0
Platinum$129$99
Diamond$359$279
EnterpriseFrom $1,499 per month, billed annually, under a separate order form

The pricing page shows no free trial of the paid plans. The 7-day refund window described below works in its place, so the first week after you buy is the time to decide.

Three ways to cancel

Helium 10's terms say you can cancel or downgrade "at any time for any reason". There are three routes:

  1. Self-serve in your account. The pricing FAQ says to go to the Plans & Billing section and select "Cancel".
  2. The support chat widget inside the Helium 10 app.
  3. E-mail. E-mail Helium 10's support team (the address is on its help center).

The self-serve route is the quickest and leaves you in control of the timing. If you use chat or e-mail, ask for a written confirmation that the subscription is cancelled. Helium 10 lists no phone number for support, and its pages do not state support hours.

Timing: cancel before the renewal date

Subscriptions renew automatically for the period you chose, and monthly if you did not choose one. To avoid the next charge, the terms say you must cancel before the renewal date. Monthly plans have "no long-term commitments", according to the pricing FAQ, so you are only tied in until the end of the current month.

Cancelling does not cut you off at once. The terms say you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. There is no reason to wait until the last day: cancelling a few days early costs you nothing in access and gives you room if something goes wrong.

The refund rules

This is the part most people get wrong, so here are the terms in plain words:

  • Within 7 days of your initial purchase: the terms promise a "full refund if you elect to terminate the Services within the first seven (7) days of your initial purchase."
  • After 7 days: payments are nonrefundable. There are no refunds or credits for a partly used month or year.
  • Any later refund is "at the sole discretion of the Company". You can ask, but Helium 10 does not have to say yes.

Note the word "initial". The 7-day window is tied to your first purchase. The terms do not promise a full refund for a renewal charge, so a renewal you forgot to stop is only refunded if Helium 10 agrees.

SituationWhat the terms say
You cancel within 7 days of your first purchaseFull refund
You cancel a monthly plan later, before renewalNo refund for the current month; access to its end; no further charges
You cancel a yearly plan part way throughNo refund for the unused months; access to the end of the paid year
A renewal has already been chargedRefund only at Helium 10's discretion
You pause instead of cancellingBilling stops for 1, 3 or 6 months, then the plan reactivates

Annual plans and renewal notices

A yearly plan costs less per month, but it locks the money in for twelve months. If you cancel in month three, the terms give no refund for the rest of the year. A yearly plan also renews automatically. For annual plans, Helium 10 says it will "use reasonable efforts" to send a renewal notice. That is not a firm promise, so do not rely on the e-mail arriving: put your renewal date in your own calendar on the day you buy.

Pausing instead of cancelling

If you are taking a break, for example between product launches, the terms allow you to pause a subscription for 1, 3 or 6 months. The pause starts at the end of your current billing cycle, and the plan reactivates when the pause ends. Two points matter here:

  • A pause is not a cancellation. When it ends, billing starts again unless you cancel.
  • The terms say a pause is "subject to renewal", so the renewal rules above still apply.

If you pause, note the end date and decide before then whether you want to come back.

Downgrading as an alternative

If the price is the problem rather than the software, the terms let you downgrade at any time, through the same three routes as cancelling. Moving from Diamond ($359 monthly, or $279 per month billed yearly) to Platinum ($129 monthly, or $99 per month billed yearly) lowers the bill while keeping a paid account. Platinum has lower usage limits and fewer users than Diamond, so check that the tools you rely on are still included before you switch. You can also drop to the Free plan, which keeps the free tools, though access to the Chrome Extension is limited there.

Enterprise contracts

Enterprise customers sign an order form, and those terms are different. The contract renews automatically for the same term unless you give 90 days' written notice before the end of the term. If you are on Enterprise, check the end date in your order form and send written notice well before the 90-day mark.

Unpaid charges

Do not try to stop a subscription by letting a payment fail. The terms say an account with unpaid charges can be suspended after 30 days, and a late charge of 1.5% per month (or the legal maximum, if lower) can be added. Cancelling properly is cleaner and leaves no debt behind.

What Trustpilot reviewers complain about

On 9 October 2026, Helium 10 had a TrustScore of 2.1 out of 5 from 713 reviews on Trustpilot. Billing is a common theme among the complaints: some reviewers say they were charged after cancelling, and others say their refund requests were refused. Other complaints cover price rises and support. Some reviewers also report quick refunds and polite support. We cannot check individual cases, but the pattern shows why written proof of cancellation is worth keeping.

Practical tips

  • Cancel a few days before your renewal date, not on the day itself.
  • If you are unsure after buying, decide within the first 7 days, while the full refund still applies.
  • Keep the confirmation e-mail, or take a screenshot of the cancellation screen.
  • After cancelling, check that your billing page shows an end date and no next charge.
  • If you cancel by chat or e-mail, save the conversation.
  • Check your card statement after the renewal date passes.

Frequently asked questions

Can I cancel Helium 10 at any time?

Yes. The terms say you can cancel or downgrade at any time for any reason, by self-serve in your account, the support chat widget, or e-mail to the support team.

Will I lose access as soon as I cancel?

No. You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.

Does Helium 10 give refunds?

A full refund is promised only if you cancel within 7 days of your initial purchase. After that, payments are nonrefundable and any refund is at Helium 10's discretion.

Can I get a refund for the unused part of a yearly plan?

Not under the terms. There are no refunds or credits for partly used periods.

Is pausing the same as cancelling?

No. A pause of 1, 3 or 6 months starts at the end of your billing cycle and the plan reactivates afterwards, so billing starts again.

How do I end an Enterprise contract?

Give written notice at least 90 days before the end of the term, or the contract renews for the same term.

The rules are simple once you know them: cancel before the renewal date, decide within 7 days if you want your money back, and keep written proof. Pausing or downgrading are options if you only want to spend less for a while.
