Concept Global Review 2026: Are the Anti-Theft Sling Bags Worth It?

Short verdict: Concept Global sells anti-theft sling bags, a carry-on backpack, packing cubes and plain cotton basics in US dollars, with a 99-day return window and a 2-year warranty on every product. The policies are clearer than at most small travel brands, but the main sling bag costs about 70 dollars and you pay the return postage if you simply change your mind. We rate it 4.2 out of 5.

How we wrote this review: we read the live Concept Global store on 19 October 2026, including its product feed, product pages, FAQ, shipping policy, refund policy and terms. We have not ordered from Concept Global ourselves, so we do not describe how the bags feel in daily use. Where we quote customer opinions, they come from the review widget on the store itself.

What is Concept Global?

Concept Global is an online store for travel gear. Its best-known product is the Travel Sling Bag, a small cross-body bag with a cut-resistant strap, RFID-blocking fabric and zipper pulls that clip down. Around it the store sells a crossbody bag, a crescent-shaped sling, a carry-on backpack, a weekender bag, compression packing cubes, a passport holder, a leather wallet and small travel items such as a neck pillow and a sleep mask. It also still sells the plain t-shirts, hoodies and sweatpants it started with.

The store runs on Shopify and lists 38 products. Prices are in US dollars. The footer says the products are designed in Finland. The terms of service for US customers name Robust Goods LLC, a Wyoming company with a mailing address in Indianapolis, as the seller. Support is by email and a contact form, with service hours of 9am to 4pm Eastern time.

The about page says the brand began with basics, then moved into anti-theft bags after customers said they wanted a safer way to carry valuables on trips. The store says it tests features in real environments and works with specialists. Those are the brand's own statements, which we could not check.

Bundles cut the total: the Travel Bundle is $119.90 against a list price of $179.90, and the Pro Travel Bundle is $199.90 against $329.60. The leather wallet and the Weekender Roller were sold out when we looked. On the same day the home page showed a time-limited buy one, get one free offer; we did not read its conditions.

Sling bags: sizes, materials and security

The Travel Sling Bag 2.0 is the core product. The FAQ gives the Regular size as 19 by 14 by 4 cm and the Max as 22 by 15 by 6 cm, with a strap that extends to 130 cm. The store says the Max fits smaller tablets and both sizes fit large phones. The 2.0 replaced the 2023 original after customers asked for tougher materials and better security, according to the product page.

The Sling Bag Pro is the newest model. It has a mirrored layout and double zippers, so it works on the left or right shoulder, and a detachable strap for three carry positions. The shell is 1680D CORDURA ballistic nylon with water-resistant zippers, a steel anti-theft cable in the strap and a grab handle on the back. It holds 2 litres and measures 22 by 18 by 5 cm. The store calls it a limited first run of 2,500 units.

The Crossbody Bag 2.0 uses the same security parts in a flatter shape: a strap with a steel cable core, a three-point buckle, a hidden back pocket, YKK zippers and RFID lining. All of these features are the store's descriptions. We could not test how cut-resistant the straps are.

Luggage and packing

The Travel Backpack opens 180 degrees like a suitcase, expands from 24 to 30 cm deep, has a padded sleeve for a 16-inch laptop, a hidden RFID passport pocket, a carabiner zipper lock, a tuck-away hip belt and a luggage strap. Closed, it measures 50 by 33 by 24 cm. The store says it fits the carry-on limits of most airlines; check your airline, because some low-cost carriers allow smaller bags.

The Weekender is a 50-litre soft bag whose ends unzip so it opens flat as a garment bag. It has a shoe compartment, water-resistant coated nylon, YKK zippers and a sleeve for a suitcase handle. The compression packing cubes have a second zipper that the store says squeezes contents by up to 60 percent, plus mesh tops and label pockets. The 6-piece set was reduced from $59.90 to $43.90 when we checked.

Shipping

Concept Global ships worldwide with tracking. US orders are mostly sent from a logistics partner in Akron, Ohio, and sometimes from an international backup warehouse. Handling takes 1 to 3 business days. US delivery typically takes 2 to 7 business days, orders from international warehouses 6 to 12 business days, and the FAQ gives 5 to 20 business days for the rest of the world.

The product pages say shipping is free on orders over 90 dollars. Below that, the cost depends on your address and is added at checkout. Prices exclude sales tax and, for international orders, customs duties, which the buyer pays. The store accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and the refund page also mentions Klarna.

Returns, refunds and warranty

You have 99 days from the day you receive the order to ask for a refund or replacement. For a change of mind or a wrong size, the item must be unused and in its original condition, and you pay the return shipping. For defective, damaged or wrong items the store pays return shipping. There are no restocking fees. You contact support first with your order number, and the store may ask for a photo. Refunds go back to the original payment method and take 3 to 10 business days on cards.

Every product carries a 2-year limited warranty on manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship, such as seams, hardware, zippers and fasteners. Normal wear, fading, stretching, leather ageing and damage from misuse are not covered. The store decides between repair, replacement and refund. An order can be cancelled only before it is handed to fulfilment, which the FAQ says often happens within a few hours.

We could not reach an independent review site for Concept Global on 19 October 2026. The store's own review widget showed 4.7 stars from 2,969 reviews for the Travel Sling Bag 2.0 on that day. Keep in mind that this score is collected and displayed by the store, so it is not an independent measure. We did not find enough detail to summarise common praise or complaints.

Who should buy Concept Global?

A good choice for travellers who want a small, close-fitting bag for a passport, phone and cards, and who value a long return window more than the lowest price. The backpack and Weekender suit people who travel with carry-on luggage only. The packing cubes are a low-risk first order.

Not a good choice if you need a bag in a hurry outside the US, if you want to try several sizes and send the rest back for free, or if you need an independent track record before buying from a smaller brand.

Tips before you order

• Compare the Regular and Max sizes against your phone and passport before choosing.
• Get the order above 90 dollars to qualify for free shipping, for example by adding packing cubes.
• Check the bundle pages: the Travel Bundle and Pro Travel Bundle were much lower than buying the items separately.
