BulbHead Review 2026: Is This As Seen On TV Shop Worth It?

Short verdict: BulbHead is the official online shop for As Seen On TV brands such as Pocket Hose, Star Shower and Horsepower. Prices are fair for gadgets, shipping is simple and the 30-day return window is normal. But the independent Trustpilot score is low, and the return label costs money. We rate it 3.4 out of 5.

How we wrote this review: we read BulbHead's live shop data, its home page, its about page, its FAQ and its refund policy on 13 October 2026. We also used our own older notes from 8 October 2026. We have not ordered from BulbHead ourselves, so we do not judge how the products feel in use. We report what the store says and what customers say.

What is BulbHead?

BulbHead is an American online store. It says it was founded in 2015 and calls itself "the home of bright ideas". It sells gadgets from well-known As Seen On TV brands, and many of them are the brands' own products.

The shop lists 79 products. The main brands are:

• Pocket Hose: garden hoses, nozzles and sprayers.
• Star Shower: light projectors for the holidays.
• Horsepower and Bull Shot: cleaning tools and cleaning sprays.
• Ruby: closet and home organisers.
• Lizard Flare, BattleVision, PedEgg: car safety lights, glasses and foot care.

The store ships to the United States and Canada. Prices are in US dollars. The store also says you can order by phone.

Products and prices

Most items cost between about $10 and $80. A few big items, such as the pop-up Christmas trees, cost more. The table shows a selection of live items.

These are the one-time prices in US dollars on the live product feed, checked on 13 October 2026. The home page and sale banners can show other, lower prices, and those can change quickly. A few items, such as Star Shower Motion, show as sold out.

A fair note on "list price": it is the price the store itself shows as the old price. We cannot tell how often items sold at that old price. So treat the gap as the store's claim.

The shop also sells a $1.99 Shipping Insurance add-on. It is optional. Read it before you tick it, because the store does not refund it later.

What to check on gadgets like these

As Seen On TV products are made for a quick look in a video. Real life is slower. Before you buy, check a few things.

• Size and length. Hoses come in several lengths. Pick the size for your yard, not the cheapest one.
• Refills and parts. Many cleaning tools need new pads, filters or brush heads. The shop sells them, so add the running cost to your plan.
• Seasonal items. Holiday projectors and trees are in stock now, but popular items can sell out close to the season.
• Which store. BulbHead says that items bought on Amazon or at another retailer go back to that seller, not to BulbHead.

Product quality and reviews on the site

BulbHead shows customer reviews on its own product pages. When we checked on 8 October 2026, several products had high ratings on the site. Examples were Ruby Sliders at 4.8 from 455 reviews and Horsepower Duck Vacuum at 4.9 from 344 reviews. The database lists the store at 4.6 from about 5,000 on-site reviews.

Keep in mind that these reviews sit on the store's own site. They are useful, but they are not an independent score. The next section shows an independent score that is much lower.

BulbHead does not give a warranty term in the pages we read. If a product matters to you, ask support before you buy and get the answer in writing.

Shipping

The store says orders usually ship within 24 hours, Monday to Friday. It does not ship on weekends. Here is what it states:

Alaska, Hawaii, US territories, Canada, PO boxes and military addresses pay a $10 surcharge, and free standard shipping does not apply there. Canadian orders also pay provincial and federal tax or HST at checkout, as the store states. Our older notes say the terms of service use a $50 limit while the banner says $49. Trust the number you see at checkout.

The shipping policy page was empty when we looked on 13 October 2026. Our shipping facts come from the store's FAQ and terms.

Returns and refunds

You have 30 days after you receive an item. It must be in its original condition. You can choose an exchange or a refund. After 30 days, a valid return may get store credit equal to your purchase price.

There are two ways to send an item back:

1. Ask support for a prepaid FedEx label. The store takes $9.99 from your refund for it.
2. Send it yourself with a traceable method. You then get the full product price back. The store suggests you insure the parcel.

The refund goes to your original payment method. The store says it processes a return in 3 to 5 business days after it arrives. Refunds then usually show within about 5 business days. The store is not responsible for returns that are lost or damaged on the way back. Shipping, handling, other fees and Shipping Insurance are not refunded.

To cancel an order, call 800-887-2717 as soon as you can. The store says it cannot cancel once an order is packed or shipped, and most orders ship within a day.

What customers say

Trustpilot was not available when we checked on 13 October 2026. When we checked on 8 October 2026, bulbhead.com had a TrustScore of 2.3 out of 5 from 339 reviews. That is low. Most of those reviews were one-star.

Common complaints in those reviews were:

• Products that stopped working early, such as hoses and cleaners.
• Support that is hard to reach.
• Delivery and tracking problems.
• Double charges.
• Return costs and slow refunds.

Common praise was on-time delivery, useful products and some problems that support fixed. The store did answer negative reviews, but often after more than a month.

So there are two pictures. Buyers on the store's own pages are happy. Buyers on Trustpilot are not. Both can be true, because unhappy buyers often go to an outside site. We treat the gap as a risk.
